XXXIX SELL Student Sports Games 2024

The XXXIX SELL Sports Games, which took place on 17-19 May, were a great success for Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) athletes, who won 37 medals – 4 gold, 14 silver and 19 bronze. Hundreds of talented athletes competed in this event and represented their countries – Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sao Tome, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Belgium and Romania.

 

Gold Medals

Ignas Bitinas – Athletics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Design, high jump (2.05 m).

Miglė Julija Dudėnaitė – Judo, Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts, -78 kg weight category.

Tadas Čalka – Dziudo, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, -73 kg weight category.

Ramunė Vainauskytė – Powerlifting, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Design, +69 kg absolute winner.

Gustas Pritulskis – Athletics, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, hammer throw (57.38 m).

Gustas Griška – Athletics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Design, triple jump (15.05 m).

Jurgis Džiaugys – Athletics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Design, javelin throw (48,60 m).

Karolina Ellert – Judo, -78 kg weight category.

Nedas Urniežius – Judo, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Design, +100 kg weight category.

Toma Kriaučiunaitė – Powerlifting, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, -57 kg weight category.
