This year marks the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Germany. On the occasion of this anniversary, Kaunas City Municipality has announced “German Days” in the city, which will offer variety of different events for the locals and city guests. Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) Sports and Wellness Center joins this festive week and invites all students of Kaunas City Higher Education Institutions to participate in the football tournament dedicated to the 30th anniversary of partnership!
The football games will take place on 6th of October, 2021 (Wednesday) at 4 p.m. at outdoor football fields located in KTU Student Campus. The winners and prize-winners of the tournament will be awarded with prizes and medals of Kaunas University of Technology and Kaunas City Municipality.
- Date: 2021 October 6
- Location: KTU artificial turf outdoor football field No.1 and No.2 (Radvilėnų rd. 19, Kaunas).
- Time: 4 p.m.
- Participants: The Higher Education students of Kaunas City.
- Team roster: 5 field players and 1 goalkeeper, at least one student of German descent.
- Match duration: two 10 minute halves with a 5 minute rest period in between.
