The activities of the Sports and Wellness Centre cover the following areas:

The Centre organises the formation of team and individual sports teams, ensures the training of athletes at the University’s sports facilities and provides the opportunities to participate and represent the University in national, regional and international student sports competitions. Sports experience is required for students to be selected for the sports team.

Leisure sports activities and group workouts of the most popular sports (basketball, badminton, climbing, etc.) are provided for University students and employees. Leisure sports activities are not only for professionals or amateurs but also for people with no experience who want to learn or improve their skills and have active leisure time. Training sessions are free of charge for University students and employees.

Each year, the Centre organises various sports events for the University community, such as „Ateik ir įveik“, the Rector’s Cup, ACTIVATed month.

During free time when training sessions are not organised, University students and employees are offered to use the University’s sports facilities free of charge, but advance reservation is required. The University’s sports facilities are available in three locations on the student campus: A. Purėno St. 18 (ACTIVATed Gym), Studentų St. 48 (multifunctional gym), Radvilėnų Pl. 19 (basketball hall, outdoor sports fields and stadium). These sports facilities offer individual training: exercising at the gym; jogging in the stadium; gathering a team and playing basketball, tennis, volleyball, etc.; attending the offered leisure sports activities.

The ACTIVATed programme provided by the Centre offers a range of volunteering opportunities to get involved in the organisation of sport and health activities at the University. Each year, around 40 various sports events and physical activities are organised and they require volunteer support. During the season of the student sports championships, volunteers are invited to assist in the activities of the sports teams, and students in the fields of sports and management are invited to complete their volunteering internships.

The Centre has been a member of the Lithuanian Students’ Sports Association (LSSA) since 1994, and a member of the Lithuanian student basketball, football and volleyball leagues and other represented sports.
